Hi Carol,

Welcome to the thread.

A couple of observations:

Those of us long to this thread are a patient lot.I think it's safe to say we all have noticed this stocks capability of making excellent moves up only to be dashed by poor earnings.

Lately the poor earnings have been the result of increased R&D in new products that offer great potential. It is safe to say these new products are all late to the market or on the positive side - due out ANY MOMENT.Martin has been quoted to say all products would be available foe sale in January of 02 - so he's got 2 days or we realistically look at further delays.

Depending on your desire to buy into this long term high potential jewel a layered or staggered entry point might be a good way:

1) 10day exp ma = 7.40
2) 20day sim ma = 7.18
3) 40day sim ma = 6.50
4) 50day sim ma = 6.42
5)200day sim ma = 6.31

If you are the patient kind of buyer that buys on low balls - the kind that delays and bad news generate (market washouts etc) then I'd look for 4.80-5.00.

Of course as the eternal optimists on this thread I've known that the last 2 of those lowballs would never occur (but of course they did).ggg

One last thing to look for :when Roy says there is a gap - you can bet the price of the stock will go there - certainly after my rantings of him pointing it out.

It is a neat stock that has quality people and exceptional product quality. The products are leading edge innovations that incorporate proprietary technology that kvhi has created and protects with patents.

Since the introduction of new products is either marketed by themselves (in which case a slow developement or awareness of a new product's introduction) or they are co developer (in which case silence of the products developement seems to take forever).
All in all given a longer term time line - we'll all do great.

Bottom line - IATL It Always Takes Longer.

Welcome and hope you get a good entry point.

JMHO

Bob

P.S. Sector - sorry I called you Carol -oops hehe
