im trying to offset my MA +3 horizontal shift. That works. However, with the 3 day shift forward, the MA should be plotting ahead of the lastest trading day..

e.g.

today is feb 5.. ma should be shown for 6th, 7th, 8th. dates.

i did ths in qcharts, and it works.. why not in mswin?

summary:

thus, it's shifting, but not plotting "ahead"

found the answer: mswin does not permit forward projections.

i guess i will use qcharts for that then.
