Windsock:

It's Intel that makes over-priced underperforming (underwhelming) junk. Everyone just laughs at those who buy the pretentious P4, NW and IA-64 (In this last case everyone but a few fools saw that you would have to be very gullible to actually buy one (Even Dell dropped it like a hot potato), they only found less than 100 of them).

From the all of my friends and relatives, the Athlons have far less problems than those using Intel's CPUs. Heck my dad's Compaq P3 top of the line notebook BSODs at least twice a day (less if it was used once or not at all). One of my relatives still has an AMD 386DX-40 that runs Linux and it only goes down for maintenance and power failures.

Your Intel bias blinds you to their faults, and those are not a few but, numerous.

Pete

Windsock: AMD does make crap but who is complaining. Everyone just laughs about the self deceptions of the AMDroids.

Sorry to say this, but your comments show nothing but ignorance.

The above and your "tens of thousands of model 2000 units [in 3 months]" line a bit earlier set a new record for complete and utter stupidity on this thread. And that's saying quite a lot.
