"No Transmission comes directly from Jesus now" This is a problem of semantics. "Transmission" is a term with a very specific meaning which is the conveying of Spiritual force from Spiritual Master to devotees in the physical company of the Spiritual Master. This occurs by sight, touch or voice or all of the these. After the Guru drops his/her body, devotees of the Master convey this same transmission in a diminished form (again, while they are still in the physical). Jesus and his disciples are no longer in the physical to do this. "Transmission" does not refer to the Spiritual relationship between Master and devotee, which is not related directly to the existence of the Master in the physical. Adi Da teaches that there is a continuing lineage of living Spiritual Masters from time immemorial to the present. Some religions reflect this. Others suggest that their Teacher is the "one and only of all time". You can take your choice, Bill. "will surely come as a revelation to most practicing Christians" to the extent that they give it a microsecond or two of bandwidth. There is a well established segment of Christianity that can be called ESOTERIC. Adi Da suggests that is the true Teaching of Jesus. He suggests that the rest is the corruption of that, over time. Once more, you choose whatever makes sense to you. Namaste! Jim
