Freep - "shorting before Bush and the Fed"

I read the following article two weeks ago, and I haven't seen the big boys buying the networkers significantly, so I guess they view this idea as pretty speculative. Nevertheless, if Bush does go for this plan and mention it in his speech, it could be a catalyst for a naz rally.

Yes, the Rydex numbers continue to be at bearish extremes. They have been so for so long I have stopped trusting them. They are not acting like they used to and it makes me think that it's smarter money.

I honestly don't know what's in store for tomorrow. Looks like tech should break up out of this flat, but it should be only for a handful of points. If we get a squeeze, that's fine too. I'd love to see a VIX of 19. Either way, I thought today that I'd likely get a better short entry.
