Kudlow is a fairly ubiquitous commentator/economist on CNBC. He also writes for the National Review and other conservative journals. Not a fan of Alan Greenspan or regulated markets generally, he has softened his tone a lot lately as the Enron debacle has unfolded.

I agree that his tough, tough attack on Enron shananigans seemed out of charactor, but he has been pretty consistent on this point from day one.

Frankly, I took it as a good thing when a conservative like him, noted for a real favortism to business, came out as hard as he has on Enron.
