Sam, It's a little difficult to describe and may sound more like witchcraft than analysis, but I'll give it a shot: As you may know, I track numerous macro, sector and company specific indicators - fundamentals, technicals, charts, trends, indices, news, etc. in order to try and stay on top of how AMAT might trade. When you do this day in and day out while watching the trading action for extended periods of time, you begin to recognize trading patterns and opportunities. Today I wasn't able to "see" anything. In other words, I mostly trade on gut-feel based on analysis, research and experience. Today my gut simply said watch out. Either it was that, or the fish I had for dinner last night. AdvocateDevil
