President Nixon was a leader who let some dumb stuff happen and he then lied to evade
admitting the truth.
*********************************************************

Pres Nixon's attempted Watergate cover-up displayed weak character. He wanted to win more than be a man of integrity & refuse to lie to the american people. Pres Clinton was not honest with the american people in order to keep his wife smiling at international dinner guests for the remainder of his term. Which was the greater sin?

Stridently declaring that ones chosen political party is always right while the opposition party is always wrong is much the same as religious differences. Every religious person wants to believe their religion is the true one. Both attitudes are extreme and unrealistic. No political party or religion is the chosen one.....that's reality. The Republicans are correct on some issues(military strength & fiscal responsibility) & the Democrats on others(woman's right to choose & society's responsibility to the truly downtrodden).
