... if 7 million CDMA then 48 million GSM (6:9 to 1) ... but IF 7 million CDMA, then CDMA growth in 2003 could be very impressive, and the ratio could reduce significantly.

China's Ministry of Info. Industry estimates the country will add another 55 million cellular subscribers during 2002 to bring the total number of subscribers to around 200 million by year-end. Last year China added around 5.1 million subscribers per month to bring the national subscriber base to around 145 million end-2001. <<
