Ann, any person so out of touch with truth that he would say I smoked and did not inhale is a sick person. If you have seen the testimony of several who have born witness to sick mr. bill and you choose to not believe them that is your right. If this is the case then I use it to determine you are dumber than dirt when it comes to being able to know truth and lies and that's really what all your observations are about.

I have not excused President Nixon's actions. I've qualified or quantified my own relative rating of depth of depravity and dishonesty. But President Nixon did resign when he fessed up. President Nixon understood what shame was and new what he did was shameful. mr. bill did not and does not. That's the difference. mr. bill is still deluded that it's a vast right wing conspiracy.

Ann,

IMHO, both men were known for dodging the truth and questionable behavior before either were elected. The American people choose to ignore those flaws. And it is pretty clear, that neither men left those flaws behind after becoming President.

In hindsight, even their campaigns ring hollow. Richard Nixon had a secret plan for peace. Bill Clinton's focus was the economy and getting the country out of a recession - that was already ending (if not already over).

I did not vote for Pres Clinton BUT it is downright silly to believe he needed to use physical force to have sex with women. He's a charmer.......

You mean to tell me that you think he could CHARM ANY woman into sex! You express a shocking defamation of your gender and your own individuality!

Ann, here is my worthwhile argument, I hope.

Bottom line is the charmer probably didn't need to force, um, normally. However, once a womanizer is accustomed to getting his way, well, perhaps his psyche indeed "needed to" in the particular close quarters moment alleged. Seems more than plausible to me given all we know about him.

The man was willing to trash the good word of dozens of truthful/innocent American women because he perceived doing so would protect his position as President. It's one thing for an average joe to deny a charge before his wife, quite another for a President to disparage honest women this way before the world. Simply disgusting, and deserving of impeachment and definitely conviction. No citizen should be falsely charged with lying by a U.S. President who is quite aware of the truth he in doing so denies.
