Tigerpaw, First of all, I believe that SOF wear uniforms (and probably other identification showing them to be U.S. soldiers). Second, I'm sure that most SOF, SEALS understand that they will probably NOT be treated as PoWs should be treated, with respect to the Geneva Convention. Can you name a conflict in the past 50 years, where ANY captured American soldiers and sailors were NOT MISTREATED (and in violation of the Geneva Convention)? The Soviets? The Chinese? Iraq? North Korea? Vietnam? Clearly we DO NOT treat the detainees as Americans soldiers would have been treated, or as American soldiers have been treated in the past.
