Well, the answer may not be what many of us want to hear. And that is, when the piper is finally paid, world equity markets could crash so badly that institutions won't even be able to pay those of us with short positions, especially those who hold significantly leveraged short derivatives and the like. The prospects of something like that transpiring scares me a lot more than the potential for some half-baked rally, with no substance but TV rhetoric to drive it, occurring. John
