The important point is March or April. AMD is slated to have A4s running at 1.5-1.6GHz in that time frame. How fast are those mobile P4s supposed to be? About the same, you say? Considering that when you have a P4 and a XP at the same clockrate, the P4 gets slaughtered in performance...

I think Compaq is over-buying on these.
