When an animal is killed the state of the animal is fear and terror. You assimilate the fear and pain of the animal. When I was young I held an orange in my hand. It smelled of beauty and life. From the seeds of the orange could grow another tree. The energy was of the highest. Nearby a piece of steak dripping in blood was present. How long that animal was dead I do not know. There seemed to me no seed of life but only decay. How could that provide me health ?. The philosopher ALbert Schweizer had an eloquent poem in which he stated that we become the graves of the dead. I really don't care what others eat as this is a personal feeling. It seems that awakening to a higher consciousness comes from minimizing violence. Again almost all of my friends eat meat and I just don't care.
