I'm sorry but I just don't accept "heat of the moment" "ooops" you're dead argument for leniency.

He killed a man, he may not have "intended" to have it go that far, but Junta with malice was the one who pummeled him to death, and in front of his children. (a mitigating factor, imo for an even harsher sentence)

I don't have any sympathy for the guy who killed a woman here when he used his automobile to run her off the road in a rage. He didn't "intend" for her to die, but of course she is very dead, too. The judge "threw the book" at him too.

In both cases the perpetrators acted out of malice.

They deserve what they got, and more, imo. The victims and their families got "life" sentences....no sentencing "guidlines" for them.
