LOL I'm sure everyone has a horror story of going to someone's house who couldn't cook! My most memorable is the girl who served her chicken with the bag of goodies and neck still in the chicken. She pulled it out, and said, "What is this?" Yuck, I went home hungry that night. My mother worked, so I grew up cooking, I can't recall a time in my life when I wasn't peeling potatoes, or making a pot roast...My problem was, I couldn't scale down the number of people I cooked for at one sitting when I was first married...come to think of it, I still cook for an army. My husband said our family had to grow into my cooking.
