jla, what is the point you disagree with. I have not excused President Nixon. has the pig vomit known as mr. bill ever admitted he lied. Has the rapist apologized to his victims. If you go along with Ann on the well he's a charmer and never needed to rape anyone then I'd also say your judgement is dumber than dirt. Considering all who have made charges against mr. bill on sex. Are any of them not credible???? Several are totally credible. Why all the lies and misdirection, because at the heart of the matter was the truth of the accusations. President Nixon sought to hide stupid misdeeds of others that he may not have been aware of when they occurred. Mr. bill sought to hide what he did and destroy any individual who could make the case that he was indeed a lying sack of fecal matter. President Nixon was not impeached. Mr. bill the rapist was impeached. I saw Ken Starr doing his job and lying dems demonize him. Was that tactic employed by President Nixon. Well he fired the guy and that dumb. But he did not attempt character assassination.

think Nixon got what he deserved and the penalty was just. Can't say the same about Clinton. ************************************************************************ President Clinton knows what his penalty will be & it's evident it has been causing him much distress recently. He knows that in yrs to come students will read in history books that because Wm. Jefferson Clinton was distracted by a personal scandal, he allowed enemies of the USA to become so strong they were able to attack & kill thousands of citizens on american soil for the first time. That is why he has tried to defend his lack of action after the embassy bombings & the Cole attack. Both men will have just penalities.
