Dan, In regard to your post “AMD is hunkered down” it sounds as though you are singing the AMD swan song.

AMD inventories declined from 9/30/01 to 12/31/01 from 449,078(thousands) to 380474 or by about 15%. Seems like this is quite a large decrease. Do you have an explanation why?

Dan, Barrett's huge capital expenditures over the last year and this will be the best decision he's ever made as CEO. And all AMD can do is resort to foundries.
