trading often doesn't necesarily have much to do with option knowledge.. even though I don't claim to know too much about option. trading frequency depends on your goal and strategy I guess.

I did trade more often than I wanted to. The problem was that I put too much (sometimes 80% of acct) in options and it became too hard to hold on through the volatility. (Actually in several occasions, I held on for too long and missed out on 150% gain..)

This was actually consistent with my goal and strategy. one of my plans was to play agressive with OPM. However my OPM never exceeded 3.5K which was easily eroded by the volatility. When it dipped into my own money, I couldn't control myself and go back to stocks only, because I wanted to come back quickly.

I am happy to hear about it if you see anything I did wrong because of lack of knowledge, which is very possible. If not, you are only actually criticizing my goal to start with.. and the goal is easy to laugh at, I know..
