There are some stunning meltdowns going on over the last few days. We have had 3 of the largest bankruptcies in US history in the last few weeks and it looks like big money is getting out of any company that even has the smell of smoke in the accounting department.

The forces that want to see this market hold together are going to have to find a way to placate folks without really opening the books. Hard trick that.

The volume off that low yesterday was the lowest of the day. I'm not asking for much but a tiny uptick in volume at s-t lows is expected.

I am not counting this mess. Suffice it to say I agree with you that bulls need a bit of a scare if we are going to 2000. I still see a fair bit of complacency in the tech volatility indices.
