The previous SEC Chairman tried to change certain practices of accounting firms like Anderson. He did not succeed. Remember the campaign reform bill?

Look at TYC, Global Crossing, etc. and how certain tech companies book revenues, on a quarterly basis - just a penny higher than street's expectation.
What analysts, mutual fund managers, and pension fund managers are doing with those worthless ENE shares?

Individual investor needs to take the ultimate responsibility. It is not easy because there is risk in everything. A steady 8-12% return is much better than a "pie in the sky". Warren Buffet made mistakes too. jmo. Ram
