Yea, I've always regarded Feinstein as just a shill for the Rebublicans. Oh, I definitely would not agree with that assessment. She's got her own constituency. The California Democratic party wouldn't let her go there. But she's clearly on the right wing of that party. I don't know what her funding sources are but I've found her fairly independent minded. I don't particularly like many of her conclusions but I find her unpredictability something of a plus. Just listen to her on gun control sometime and remember that she got her political start when her predecessor as mayor was murdered in city hall in San Francisco. If you have yet to see the Harvey Milk film, I recommend it. John
