I disagree, Scott
"just what we need"? I dont think so
if every 10th company with supposed growth is involved with cooking books, hiding losses with SPE's, using offshore banks to defraud, playing games with goodwill, playing games with R&D writeoffs, and ...

over half the accounting audit firms routinely collude with their "consultants" (read: conspirators) ...

then the entire system is at risk
many people will pull money out, pursue CD's
funny thing is if they pursue Treasury Bonds, they are likely to lose money this year as rates rise

if they pursue Corp Bonds, they are likely to win
sometimes big

Scott, seriously, the entire corrupt system is being exposed
never before in my life have I seen such avid interest in the public to expose inner workings
and they reek of criminality and collusion

we have company transparency
we cannot trust the books and balance sheets
what can we trust?
not much

Wall Street and BigSeven need to do FIRE DAMAGE CONTROL
in a very very big way
trust is eroding every single day
people have lost much of their retirement funds in last two years
now a particular Texas slice has lost ALL their 401k's

congressional members are pressured to reveal and expose
the systemic corruption is becoming clear

and we have not even touched the collusion between brokerage house analyst recommendations and frontrunning
