Speaking of creative accounting, I am looking forward to W. explaining to us tonight how we will fight an army of 100,000 terrorists, cut taxes and have a surplus all at the same time. We are in this war, like it or not, and we are going to have to pay for it. I believe that will demand austerity.

sox is down 2>48% and the Naz 2.68%, about the same

Zeev, what I meant by my comment is that on the way up the Comp didn't rise as much as the Sox. The Sox had days when it was up 6-8% and the Comp was up less. Essentially, I think the Sox has a higher beta than the Comp, so relatively speaking it held up better today. One of these days it will get creamed.

I did cover before the close. I won't be surprised if after the tanking we have had we initially rally on the Fed. If they don't move their bias back to neutral I think they will have some encouraging comments. That rally s/b sold IMHO.

ork
