I believe a sane woman would. It's very much a matter of degrees. My husband would 'defend my honor' if insulted... I would expect no less, but it would take a sick woman to take pleasure in the type of escalation that would lead to irreparable harm ...I expect Mrs. Junta wishes she had been there to "stop it" considering the outcome....one can only hope.

Good grief! If it were up to me, every guy who ever threw a punch (outside the dojo or the battleground) for any reason other than to defend against imminent physical violence would get 3-5. A man is not a man, IMO, until and unless he has his head together sufficiently to manage life without hitting.
