Its is a characteristic of elitist demolibs that they know what you and I ought to be feeling, thinking, etc....

Long empathic experience with the human condition...

I have truly listened to such people; I know whereof I speak! ;-)

You know how when you truly listen to a loved one telling you of some deep emotional hurt? How you feel their anguish? Well, all feelings can be communicated: gloating, viciousness, and causing pain to the helpless are not excluded. So to answer your question: I know it, for I have felt it.

All of those ugly feelings are simply ways of expressing pain. What such people (what any people) need to learn, is how to express their pain directly--with some vulnerability. But of course, it does not necessarily feel safe to do so in the environment many create for themselves...

I suppose I should have answered your question in the jocular...but what is wrong with a little serious interchange from time to time!
