16:29 ET Newport hits guidance, lowers EPS for Q1 (NEWP) 22.48 -1.67: Reports Q4 net of $0.00 a share, in line with consensus. Sales fell 48% to $50.3 mln. For Q1, co expects sales to decline 5%-10% sequentially with a loss of $0.03-$0.05. Wall Street had expected co to show a sequential rev decline of roughly 4% and post a profit for the qtr of $0.01.
