4:41PM Paradyne beats estimates, announces ALA deal (PDYN) 6.50 +0.41: Reports Q4 pro forma EPS of $0.14, $0.06 better than the First Call consensus; revs were $51.1 mln, vs consensus of $43.57 mln. In a separate press release, the co announced that ALA has licensed PDYN's ReachDSL technology for its microelectronics unit, to jointly develop and produce a new generation of ADSL chipsets.
