Well, I tried to balance it with some aspects on how different networks might be handling
SMS messages.

The major point that although local SMS messages have been fairly minimum pong for a long time,
this now seem to have becoe the fact for SMS messages between many operators,
especially some outside Finland and Sonera's best roaming buddies...

Not that important for regular SMS messages, but important for WAPping internationally
if only the SMS method is possible. (like Ghanian and Seattlian tourists paying for
their finnish vodka or beer, parking fee, etc, or the other way around)

But most important for GPRS, both the legacy one and the present one, until
that synch channel is up and running, when all of the Wap is Crap equipment
anyway must be unscrewed.

Ilmarinen

I have understood it often isn't even resold as surplus, although it works according to
inhouse specifications, but must be destroyed under supervision, not to enter the
gray market and cause more problems and loss of brand recognition (or the
other way around, increase it)
