I actually got a snailmail response from my House representative. He thanked me for supporting him in his effort to oppose drilling in Alaska......ummmmm, he obviously didn't pay attention to what I wrote.

LOL! At least my guy made an effort. Or to be more precise, his LA, through the labors of some faceless intern, made an effort!!.. :0) But I disagree with his position on ANWR... The private oil companies have actually been the salvation of the porcupine caribou in the region, which the various human structures giving those herds protected sanctuaries where predators fear to approach. And the next time I see him, I plan on telling him so.. <gg> But I do agree on looking longer range about other sources of energy, but they normally take far longer to implement than anticipated. Hawk
