Gersh, I'll take a crack at it. Being on the front lines, I doubt the feds have any idea how bad the revenue stream is going to be this year. Few understand that when a corporation has a loss, they can carry it back and retrieve (so to speak) income taxes paid in the last three years. So, you have the scene of a big sucking sound. Now, in this environment we are going to light up the Christmas tree, and put a package under the tree for all the lobbies. Not knocking any particular program, but they are going to really break the bank. And, was that a republican president calling for corporate accountability? <gg> Almost as good as Slick Willy pushing GATT and NAFTA. Just a View from the Swamp, TB
