That's an interesting angle.

Well, I guess the best way to become truly rich is to use your reputation to do a startup, and then to be bought up or IPOed.

Still, I feel this acquisition fits pretty well in AMD's profile. Sort of a puzzle piece fitting the portrait as much as AMD fits in Alchemy's one. The handheld market, when it merges with the cell phone and PDA market, will become an enormous one. AMD has to get there.
