Dave,

Thanks, for the heads-up on
"... bank stocks, is this... bursting of the credit bubble?
as more worthless fiat becomes, the more gold becomes "good."

Do you have an url to show the above situation of bank's health?

long-term, short-term, and in-between, and to determine
where we currently stand in relation to those factors.
Comments on the rest of the precious metals complex
are also encouraged, as is technical analyses.
Please do not seek or give recommendations or advice

Almighty God,
We pray today for our fallen countrymen and women,
and for all of the victims of Tuesday's attack on our nation.
We ask you to comfort and protect their survivors,
in their grief and sorrow. We pray for the wounded,
and for those who may be trapped, that you will preserve them,
and give them strength in their hour of trial.
We pray also today for the men and women in our Armed Services,
and those of our Allies, who stand in harms way in defense
of our lives and our freedoms. Lord, hear our prayer.

(or)

Golly, i have no god and i'm mentioned above as if i do.
Almighty God,...
We pray...
Lord, hear our prayer

(or)

Pushing your religious beliefs onto others is a no no, yes?

(or)

Hey, no problem for me really as i understand your error,
but just wondering, lets assume everyone on this thread
does have religion, and represented here to include
all present on planet Earth.
ok?
Great, and now do the following two names identify all?
1. Almighty God
2. Lord

Thank you for your e-mail enquiry regarding gold nuggets recovered from the Croesus Mine, Munro Township, Ontario.

The Croesus Gold Mine was Ontario's highest grade gold producer at 2.79 ounces / ton (unfortunately, it had a short mine life).

Historical facts: Croesus Mine, Munro Township
Tons milled: 5,333
Production (oz Au): 14,859
Grade (oz/T): 2.786
Years of Production: 1915-18, 23, 31-36

Some of the information about large gold nuggets ......

The largest gold nugget reported in the United States weighed 195 pounds and was found in California during the 1849 gold rush.

The largest nugget found in British Columbia, weighed 73 ounces, was found on McDame Creek in 1877 by Alfred Freeman.

Largest gold nugget found in the Yukon was 72 ounces.

The Welcome Stranger, weighing about 156 lb, was turned up accidentally by a wagon wheel in Victoria, Australia, in 1869.

But for the really big .... the "Holtermann Nugget" remains the largest single mass of gold ever discovered in the world, measuring almost 5 feet long and weighing almost 638 pounds was discovered at Hill End, New South Wales (Australia) in 1872.

The first discovery of gold in the Canadian Shield took place at the community of Eldorado, some 10 kilometres north of Madoc in August of 1866. Originally thought to be copper pyrite, the nuggets were identified as gold in October of 1866.

Unfortunately I was unable to find any information regarding gold nuggets from the Croesus Mine, Munro Twp. I suggest that you contact the Royal Ontario Museum directly.
