Absolutely! Another person much smarter than me...

...recently noted (I'd credit but I can't remember which poster it was) this rote, grinding, repetitious, mononotous, one-track theme of the Bush regime ... as well as the 'faithful' right here on SI.

Hit 'em while they're down ... and keep it going (i.e. war, recession) while they're most 'receptive' to the message of fear and terror. Strip 'em of their jobs ... of all 'security.'

Then they'll friggin' listen.

Once and for all.
