Elmer, Re: There were more projects than just StrongArm going on in Hudson

I was under the impression that StrongArm was designed in Austin.

Elmer,

Well I've worked with them too and they weren't phantoms. Yes some left but there were more projects than just StrongArm going on in Hudson. I've been to Hudson a number of times and worked on a number of products including some StrongArm embedded versions and there are many designers left over from DEC.

Makes sense. New Englanders on the whole do not like to move. That being the case, where else are experienced chip designers and related discipline people going to get a job around Hudson MA?
