bbm,

We seem to have turned a corner. You are actually communicating. What a refreshing change.

Well, I wasn't as fearful of Clinton as you. As I recall, the NAZ went to the moon on his watch. The infernal deficit that Dubya insists on enslaving the nation with was tamed for a time and we didn't have any towers blown up and vast expansions of the militarization of Amerika in peacetime like we are seeing now. So, on balance, I'm really quite a lot more irritated with the current usurper in the White House than with a guy who seemed to get pointlessly pilloried for having a fun personal life. <wink>

Clinton was good for the retail investor. Like me. Since Bush has come in, I can't say that the there's been much joy for the small investor. And if we fast forward the kind of help we can expect from a rascal like Harvey Pitt at the SEC, I'd say that the retail investor ought to just go on strike and abandon Wall Street as a snake pit of deception and chicanery, aided and abetted from the highest halls of Washington. YMMV.
