taxation on corporations.

Our elected officials know Corporations are the only ones left who can face rising taxes without ending someone's political career. Corps are used to spending millions on accountants and tax lawyers to face the IRS.

My surplus check, courtesy of GWBush, just went to my accountant to generate a quarter inch stack of paper. I'd do it myself with Quicken except I fear the IRS more than I fear a bypass operation. Why should I take advantage of all the social-program credits and deductible donations when it adds forms and significantly increases my chances of getting audited?

If you want to fight for real tax reform, fight for a simple tax system that allows each political favor and attempt at social engineering to show up like a giant cold sore on a tax return that otherwise fits on the back of a postcard.

Anyone remember Clinton's more than 100 proposed tax law changes in his final year?
