Should have read your link but the knownothingness of the writers makes me want to puke.

I wonder if the gain in performance in the Dell is worth the extra 100+ bucks.

Also the serverworks chipset probably costs more than an A7M266:

Sweet spot on the A7M266 Crucial PC2100 is >= 166fsb. Performance goes up in a parabolic curve at the high DDR rates. Must be the faster you go the less wasted cycles in the CPU.
