I noticed a lot of people didn't stand during one of the standing ovations (mostly Democrats, I guess) when President Bush was talking about making the tax cuts permanent. Otherwise, it seemed like almost everybody stood when there was a standing ovation.
Is there ever such a thing as a "permanent" tax cut anyway?
