craig, i re-read your original post on this subject and caught a couple things i missed (assumed you had a clue!).

first, the ONLY two diets compared were high fat and high carbo. high fat won.

WHO CARES? excessive carbo diets SUCK! the high fat diet you speak of beat a one legged blind guy in a race. you get EXCITED far to easily - or is that emotional attachment blinding? ;-)

zoners have beaten the WORLD'S BEST ATHLETES REGARDLESS OF WHATEVER DIET THEY USED. atkins athletes... WATE, THERE ARE NONE! -rotflmao-

big difference. not sure it is big enough to detach you emotionally from your wuvvy, wuvvy concept... but BIG DIFFERENCE, nonetheless.

so, the point you are trying to prove is null and void to begin with. your diet (not proven, just assumed here for the sake of argument) beats the smallest kid on the block. WOOOO HOOOO! -rotflmao-.

secondly, the study said that elite runners were used for the test. what it didn't say is whether they STAYED ELITE DURING THE TEST PERIOD. funny, if they set all time records b/c the diet was so great, it probably would've been mention, DON'T YA THINK? their performance during the test could've SUCKED for all you know!

proof? time to send you back to logic school.

third, the carbohydrate level could have been much more than atkins suggests. we just don't know. but, as i've elucidated, IT DOESN'T EVEN MATTER!

if i was that smart... i wouldn't have assumed you had a clue...

we even had a threadster here come on here and say the atkins diet screwed up his running...

all evidence points in one direction, craig. your squirming is unbecoming.
