SOX pulling up NAZ by its whiskers.. Thomas Weisel initiating coverage on a bunch of Semi equipment names with buys and strong buys.. And AMAT saying orders should pick up in the second half of year..

I dont quite get this call, arent most chip companies drastically cutting Capex?? Is this not this a negative for Chip equipment stocks?? How can AMAT say things will ramp up in second half when Capex cuts are just beginning, or is it wishful thinking?? hmmm.. I must be missing something

You are probably right, Mish. The accounting issues are putting a bit of a damper on those rosy earnings projections. That's why T/A is the only way to trade this market right now.
