Bush's policies will move us into a greater divide between the rich and poor. I don't have time right now to discuss it but I am afraid that we are moving away from Democracy....far away. I can actually see how this country can implode on itself and that is scary to me. I was never able to see that before.

In Star Wars , Luke so often makes a statement, " I've got a bad feeling about this."........that's how I feel. We're into some deep doodoo.

Don't worry, be happy. Just do the macarena like y'all did throughout the '90's.

Would you like a softer word like, "bad," instead of "evil," so as to not offend your delicate sensibilities? Or don't you think these people are "bad"? Is that too judgmental?

It's reassuring to see that the foundation of your thinking rests on Star Wars. Perhaps Hollywood ought to be in charge, shouldn't it? Yeah, that's the ticket. They'd just send a few super heroes out and make everything alright. Then we can do the Macarena in peace.

The only reason that the Israelis have not been driven into the sea by the Arab powers is that they have a strong army and security apparatus. In Israel, cracking down eventually leads to a decline in terrorist incidents. It is lightening up that accelerates them. "Intifada II" is a direct result of Clinton pressing the Israelis for more concessions. The Palestinians took that as a signal to turn the heat on.........By the way, Powell looked happy as a clam to me.....
