No insult, some of my best friends consider themselves to be liberal and others conservative. Personally, I don't like being labeled as either. A lot of the greatness of this country came from liberal ideas and also from conservatism. It seems that on SI as soon as a person can be labelled as either liberal or conservative, then it's fair game just to insult them and not discuss issues intelligently. I've been guilty myself, but am trying to wean myself away from that behavior :-)
