Excellent......ditto here, except on the east coast. In fact, my wife actually teaches a class on climbing...one is your basic stuff....learning to top rope, belay and all the ebginner stuff, and she also does an advanced class for sport, trad, setting routes and etc.......she happens to be a great looking blonde too, and could make a living doing this if she wanted, but she would rather be a 9 to 5er, and climb for herself, rather then for the folks she endorses...the climbing class is like 8 weekends a year at the local communty college, not a big deal.......we dont have to big walls like out west, but we have some of the best climbng in the country. awesome variety, LOTS of stuff in LOTS of places.....good technical stuff...of course, still have to get out west once or twice a year for some of that big wall stuff....europe is pretty cool...lots of good climbing over there...have some pics of my wife climbing directly over the mediteranean sea....breathtaking...she wont let me send it in to a Climbing or Rock and Ice <ggg>.......anyway...whats your level.....you onsighting the 12.d's yet <ggg>.......I heard tommy caldwell lost a finger...but I guess thats old news.....he's back climbing again......take care....zap me a note if your ever out east, we will make sure you are quite pumped when you leave <ggg>......
