Why is it that news always seems to come out, just at the appropriate moment? To provide liquidity for the sellers… damonvickers.com Remember when Enron was in a freefall all of a sudden Dynegy was going to buy them out … that was the last call… if you didn't sell on that news.. You were in for some serious pain as the stock disappeared into the subbasement. I have seen this over and over again that news is floated at appropriate moments by the sellers to induce you to buy the "news” and. Here's how it works; you have say 10-20- 30 million shares of stock to sell… The problem is that there isn't enough liquidity in the market to absorb your shares. If you start selling your going to be competing against yourself. Solution; circulate bullish news that attracts the public to buy the stock… this creates liquidity for you the seller; they buy the BS/you sell your shares… the public gets left holding the "bag"of stock that starts falling like a rock. If there is a theme that has pervaded my recent comments on the market or this web site or the air it has been the bullish comments vs. the bearish actions… The fact that so many Wall Street firms have gone public in the very recent years is a clear message that they are selling this market… they employ analysts strategists and the like who make appearances before you and induce you to buy… and all the while they are selling… The news that Tyco was going to split itself up into four separate units in my opinion created just enough liquidity for the sellers… The General electric news of their "interest" in those units that followed afterwards was just more "liquidity generating news"… Life is really very simple, we come into this world beautiful innocent and full of love… How people learn such fantastic schemes to conceal to lie and to cheat is, -I have no words… I can tell you that when you're honest, when you have integrity, when your character is transparent; you sleep better… you love life… life loves you… and all is good with the world… Neither Dennis Kozlowski, the Enron executives, Al Dunlap, Michael Milken, Henry Blodgett, Mary Meeker , you or I, are going to take any of this world with us when were dead… We all hope to leave something for our children and eachother… Let it be said that while you and I lived, -not everyone liked us , but we were not false… we were true, true to ourselves, and true to each other, as human beings, on this world… and in the eyes of our God together and not of lies, but the truth.
