Debt may be an expression of consumer confidence, but the correlation between increased debt to bankruptcy filings (almost a perfect 1:1) would say that confidence *may* be unjustified.

that's one type of debtor...the other is playing "Keepin Up with the Joneses"..credit card debt

expect carnage soon...consumer spending can not keep the mkt afloat IMO
