Yes......I was getting confused with the game! LOL

You are right is was Custer, Col. George Armstrong Custer. Actually it was General Custer by the time Crazy Horse and his men mutilated him and his men at Little Bighorn. We visited the battle site a few years ago and found it to be quite interesting. Custer was known for attacking Indian villages and wiping out all the residents including babies and women. When the Indian encampment at Little Bighorn found out that Custer was tracking them they knew they would have to fight to save their families. Custer made some strategic mistakes and allowed himself to get isolated from the rest of the troops. The battlefield is quite spooky but the Park Service has an excellent outline of how the battle developed and how Custer ended up surrounded. His brother and his two nephews were killed with him. It was a sad day for his sister-in-law.

SittingBull was in the Indian camp smoking a pipe and getting visions ( I wonder what he was smoking!! LOL) while Crazy Horse led the warriors.
