KLP, From what I can see, there were shenanigans going on in the inner core of Enron, that had nothing to do with any of the many politicians they to whom they made contributions. The liberals are in such disarray that they are grasping at straws to make a futile attempt to appear like they are still a factor. I cannot condone the mess that Enron has made, either through terribly incompetent management, or out-and-out fraudulent practices, but it was done without any help from the WH.
