John, yes, much warmer than last year or the average for this week. I use this cpc.ncep.noaa.gov and use the GAS HOME HEATING CUSTOMER WEIGHTED section. I find it useful for predicting AGA changes since it is usually available earlier.. I'm looking more at year-to-year changes since it think it is a better indicator of current industry activity. Considering that industrial usage is probably weaker in Jan 2002 than Jan 2001, I see it as bullish rather than neutral. JMO. John
