He was a bright man, Ann. And he lied. Many times. And he made the choices he made by himself....no one else made him do whatever he did. As far as CEO's, etc. I can tell you for a fact of at least two careers ruined for similar behavior in the office. (In one of the cases, it was stalking on email....) The BOD's in both cases gave the CEO/President a choice. Leave willingly or leave unwillingly. My guess this is how Corporate America deals with stupid people at the top.
